Téo Ponciano - vídeoartist

 

 

Téo Ponciano has acted as a sound engineer; percussionist; VJ; scenic technician; electronic, sound and live stream. In recent years, Teo has researched acoustic percussion in interaction with media electronics. It creates ambiences and soundtracks for theater, events and performances, and develops own instruments, as well as devices for obtaining scenic effects in interaction with music and video.

Among his works are: "Literary Ballad 2019 and 2020", as sound technician, filming, videomaker and live stream; "Eletro Drops - Mostra de Música Eletrônica/Sesc Pompéia-2018", as VJ, live stream and capture of images; Percussionist and VJ of Laura Finocciaro; shows: Tashi Delê (2005), Avoar(2010) and Copy-Paste (2014); Núcleo Luiz Ferron, as VJ and sound technician, since 2009; Cia. Bonecos Urbanos, musician and technician; Ojos de Brujo, VJ in the show "Aocaná", of the Spanish group, in Sesc Pinheiros/SP; "Samba of Criolo Doido", by Luiz de Abreu, as co-director of the soundtrack and live percussion in presentations throughout Brazil and Europe; Percussion, video and creation with Luis Ferron and Daniela Dini; "Rumos Dance Centro Cultural Itau 2013"; Athanasius Meta Sistema; Works developed with Pablo Prearo; Performance in projects with Regina Silveira, Mário Ramiro, Wilson Sukorski, Maria Momenson.

 

Currently, he's is part of the technical team of Companhia Nova de Teatro, such as VJ, sound and image technician and videomaker. He acted in the plays "A Cripta de Poe", "Caminos Invisibles...La Partida", "Apátridas " , "Foreman Trilogy",  " Noise in the Waters", A Scream in the Dark and "Entrelaçados".
